Has a random stranger ever made a big impact on you? Or how are YOU the kind random stranger?

I recently stumbled on a small nonprofit called The Random Acts of Kindness Foundation. According to their website, their purpose is to make kindness the norm by offering free resources and ideas for educators, families, and workplaces. You can even signup to be a ‘RAKtivist (a Random Acts of Kindness activist.) I love this idea. Check it out!
We’ve all heard stories of random acts of kindness - the person giving away money at Walmart, paying for a stranger's coffee, Oprah giving away free cars, or one of these down below. Cue the cheesy music and grab a tissue. You’re gonna need it.
Has a random stranger ever made a big impact on you? Or better yet, how can YOU be the kind random stranger?
I remember in Spain when I was trying to figure out what I wanted to do, and this elderly dude at a news stand asked me why I was traveling. I said to learn Spanish, and then we started talking about music, and he said to me something that has stuck with me, which was, "nothing is stopping you, and I wish somebody told me this sooner." That has been in my head ever since, and I try to think about it daily. Glad that dude was there to tell me those words.
Scott and Eric were running a 5k back in 2006. Scott collapsed and his heart stopped. A complete stranger running in the race, stopped and administered CPR. I’m eternally grateful for this wonderful person.
