What's your dream vacation?

Summers in Minnesota are beautiful. It's so lovely to be outside. But summers are also perfect for vacations. When our boys were young, we'd typically finish the school year and start summer with a bang by traveling. I have so many fond memories of us traveling together.
We're kicking old school in a couple of weeks and going camping (just the two of us this time) way up north, Gooseberry Falls, Duluth, Judge C R Magney State Park, and Grand Marais. While it's fun and such a great change of scenery for urban folx, camping isn't exactly a dream vacation for some.
So, for this week, think of this one.
What’s your dream vacation?
I’m about to take my dream vaca. Since John & I both had big birthdays in 2023 & a 5 year anniversary we decided to take that dream vaca. Croatia first for 2 weeks on a yacht with friends exploring small inlets& islands in the Adriatic. Very casual, swim suits & shorts. Next leg: Flying to Bergen, Norway to explore the Fjords & perhaps get scenic overload. Next, fly to Stockholm, Sweden to renew friendships with Ek cousins. We spell our name Eck. Then the Romantic part. France with 10 day River cruise, just the two of us. Venturing up to Normandy, bucket list & Monet’s stomping grounds. Finally meeting two close friends to show them the Paris I love for 5 days. My 8th time in that beautiful city. “ Au revoir”
I would love to take a trip all around Italy. It would be incredible to witness the breathtaking sights of Italy on the coast in places like Positano or Cinque Terre and just enjoy the beauty. It would also be a dream to stay in a villa in Tuscany to take in Italian culture through wine-tasting and homemade cooking. A perfect vacation, in my mind, is a combination of relaxation and learning about the culture of the place you're visiting. And 100% fun of course!
