In my opinion, there's no beating the juicy lucy from Matt's Bar in South Minneapolis! A delicious burger with gooey, warm cheese inside and topped with sauteed onions and pickles. Bonus points if you get a side of fries and dip them in any of the cheese that spills out. I've been eating them since I was little and even when I was a picky kid, they were amazing. SO delicious!

A burger off! Great fun.

There's a restaurant in South Minneapolis called the Tap Society and I swear they have one of the BEST burgers I've ever tasted. It's very simple - a buttery brioche bun, two burger patties (thin patties - this is KEY), cheddar cheese and ketchup. That's it. No nonsense. And it NEVER misses! Side note: they also have delicious fries.

Oooh, I love a good burger. Here’s my favorite go to: fresh ground turkey, 1 tsp salt, 1/2 tsp pepper, 1 tsp finally chopped garlic, 1/4 tsp rosemary & 1/4 tsp basil. I bake my burgers at 400 degrees to safe temp. Melt dairy free cheese and place between to slices of toasted gluten free bread. 😘👌

I take the short-cut approach and do the following: get a Red Hot Ranch burger on 35th Street across from Sox park and eat it at my studio while pretending I made it or we eat either black bean burgers or salmon burgers at home. Neither of which are homemade..we do warm them

Up in a pan. Yum!

My favorite burger to make is a Turkey Burger- it’s not my recipe but from a local restaurant (Red Cow)and so good. It’s got avocado, white beans, lots of cilantro and red onion , delicious sauce.
