I have a skirt that I bought 15 years ago. I got it at a boutique where my sister lives in Bloomington, Indiana. The boutique is long gone but the skirt has staying power. No one except me likes the skirt and they have weighed in with their opinions. The best thing is that the skirt is reversible so I can kind of wear it all the time..one side is pilling a little and I splattered paint on it so I'm down to one side but hoping to get another 10 years out of it.

It was called Relish, I think.

I miss that store. The owners were really nice people.

He wore that robe when I was a young kid so yeah, it probably was a gift. I don’t keep a lot of stuff, but do have family photos that I am meaning to put into albums. Maybe this winter?!

I save some art materials because I always think I might use them again.

I’m answering this a little bit late. I have an old pot holder that Mom gave me sometime in the 90’s. It has a recipe for Jordan Pond Blueberry Pie. I love it so much.

I’m not a saver of things, so most of the cherished items like boots that have seen adventures or shirts that hold memories get passed on - used by someone else. I do have a book that my grandmother had - title Practical Methods, Aids and Devices for Teachers Volume ll. The book is falling apart part; the pages are yellow and falling loose from the binding, but I keep it on the shelf next to me- near my favorite pub chair, so I can look at it and think how intelligent she must have been. It inspires me.
