I will rewatch some old series from the beginning like Gilmore Girls, just restarted Suits, etc. You see different things and have different perspectives at different times. For movies, for some reason I have this dance movie Centerstage that always cheers me up when I'm home sick.

How have I never seen Centerstage? I'm a total sucker for ballet / dance movies. I was a ballet dancer in another life. Are you a dancer too? Thanks for the suggestion! I'm with you on Gilmore Girls.

Yes! I was a dancer. Didn't love ballet - it was too strict!! But, I danced for probably 15 years.

I loved ballet!! Got a pair of pointe shoes in sixth grade! I was so proud of that.

Forest Gump is the greatest movie of all time. Right up with Tombstone.

Moonstruck. Great movie still after seeing it so many times. Something’s Gotta Give. It’s still so funny and I want to live in the beach house.

When David and I first met, we would get together on Sunday nights to watch Star Trek: The Next Generation. Episodes aired on Sunday nights at 10:30. It was indeed appointment TV. I still have a soft spot for Next Gen and love that our favorite pizza place usually has it playing with subtitles on one of the screens.

For movies, I'm a sucker for anything Chris Farley, Trading Places, Breakfast at Tiffany's, or The Graduate. If one of those is on, I'm watching.
