I loved That Girl with Marlo Thomas. She always seemed to have some mishap that was usually resolved by the end of the show. Also enjoyed The Mary Tyler Moore Show.
Dark Shadows. It was a show about vampires in the late 60’s early 70’s. We would race home from school to watch- it started at 3:00. Fun fact: I could do a headstand for the entire theme song- it was long.
I was 12 years old when MTV first came out. My friends and I watched it obsessively for a couple of years. Even today, I'm still trying to break the habit of making weird faces when I attempt a guitar solo.
We watched Captain Video, Lassie, Tom Mix, the Lone Ranger. Every night the TV would sign off with The Star Spangled Banner & then there would be a test pattern of fuzzy buzzing!
Monday nights at 7pm meant one thing - Little House on the Prairie. After the show ended I used to call my best friend, CK and discuss the entire episode in detail. At some point, the series kind of jumped the shark but I still watched.
Batman and The Beatles cartoon on Saturday morning. I also liked watching Room 222 and The Man from U.N.C.L.E. All had some kind of hip music involved.

Love those shows too! Remember how Marlo Thomas's voice squealed when she said, "Donald?" Her dad was so terrible to poor Donald.

That is in impressive headstand!! Fun Fact: Dark Shadows was the only American show I watched when I went to Israel. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bfWIQfqik3c
You're kidding! That's funny. Barnabas Collins.

We should watch MTV's first two hours and have a dance party tomorrow night! You in?
Sounds like a party. :-)
