My dad used to call me "The Trendsetter" (hardly the case, but that nickname always makes me smile.) Trends come and go, and most times come back again...

Some people say if you wore a trend the first time around, you don’t get to wear it again. I'm afraid I have to disagree with this. If you want to break out those cargo pants (did you know they're back in?) I say go for it!

Sometimes fashion choices lead us astray, and the trends we thought were the rage come back to haunt us in photos years later.

What was your most embarrassing or funny childhood or teen fashion choice? Photos encouraged!

I look back at some of my prom dresses and just CRINGE. My sophomore dress had a mix of zebra print and rhinestones… yikes haha the whole classic trend hadn’t taken hold yet

I think my worst outfit was my red “caftan” that I made in high school. It was purely for elegant lounging in our basement. I didn’t use a pattern(it showed) and also didn’t hem it because- why? Just an unnecessary step. My sister was an expert seamstress (is that term still used?) at the time and she was appalled by my sewing “efforts.”.
