What's a cherished item from your youth that, after years, you still can't part with?

On a 1-10 scale of being a minimalist and a pack rat, I'm probably a 5, squarely in the middle. If someone gives something to me, I tend to use it, not "keep it for good." Recently, I've been trying to adopt the practice of removing something from my house whenever I bring something new into the house. Liberating! Still, there are things we cling to for no real apparent reason and can't seem to part with.
We're doing some construction at our house, which precipitated cleaning out our attic, which to that point had been a storage spot filled with tubs and tubs of old Legos, other kid stuff, and a couple of boxes of mementos.
My box contains mostly photos, letters, ticket stubs, and a little red-checked diary. When I was a sophomore in high school, I was Anne Frank in my high school's production of The Diary of Anne Frank.
I bought a little diary and covered it with a red gingham fabric. It was a prop in the play. After the play was over, that little book became my journal. There's nothing like the musings of a sixteen-year-old girl. So. Many. Feelings.
I'll never part with this little book. I imagine at some point, a family member will read some of the entries, have a chuckle, and toss it aside.
What about you? What's a cherished item from your youth that, after years, you still can't part with?
It’s not a cherished item but items. It’s all the piano music books I’ve accumulated from middle school thru college. I still have virtually all of it. These books were such a huge part of my life that getting rid of them feels like closing the door on the music part of my life and I don’t want to do that. I love sitting down at the piano and working on a piece that I used to be able to play well- it feels good.
