It’s not a cherished item but items. It’s all the piano music books I’ve accumulated from middle school thru college. I still have virtually all of it. These books were such a huge part of my life that getting rid of them feels like closing the door on the music part of my life and I don’t want to do that. I love sitting down at the piano and working on a piece that I used to be able to play well- it feels good.

Yes, me too! I love to see notes on the sheet music too - passages that I needed to work on, etc. Brings me right back!
