Remember when you were a teenager and older people would tell you “you’re experiencing the best years of your life?” Well, first of all, thank God they were wrong. Apparently, I was much more self conscious and awkward than they were. Whew.

While my teenage years weren’t always great, I’m not gonna lie, there were some epic times!

For this week’s question, take a trip back in time and consider this. If you can "re-live" one magical night of your teenage years, what night are you re-living?

Cheers to believing that the best is yet to come!

I can’t say this was exactly one night but there were many nights like this one. It was summer and usually very hot. Our marching band would march through the streets of the town practicing. It was fun- there was always some drama as often one section of the horns would quit because they were mad at the director. Quitting section would always be back the next day.. We would ride home with the McNamara girl who would drive out on our country road, as fast as possible, with the car lights off. Just for fun. 😳

I would encapsulate the ultimate Friday night sleepover with my best friends, Anna and Chloe (we spent almost every weekend together from 5th-12th grade). Life was so carefree then! Normal activities on the agenda would be hiking Barns Bluff, creating our own Harry Potter home videos, cooking an extravagant Italian dinner, rendezvous at Perkins around 2am - the world was our oyster :)
