One of the most fun things I remember about summers as a kid, was visiting our Grandparents in Galesburg, Illinois, home to Kiddieland, an amusement park. It was only a few blocks from our grandparents house and they had huge search lights going at night that we could see. We would always get to visit once during our trip and we would bug our parents to take us constantly. Rides were 10 cents each- my favorite ride was the Flying Swings. I went on that ride once with my Aunt MA and her shoes flew off.

As a kid the roller coaster then maybe that big octopus thingy. Nowadays I just want to look at the fish the animals eat a couple of corn dogs and head home.

I’d go on the Ferris wheel so I can survey the whole area. Years ago I would have gone on the Roller Coaster.

Ye olde timey cars, hands down. Even when I was a kid. Evidently my thrill seeking nature has not changed much.

I’d look for a good cup of coffee and watch. Who does that sound like? 🥰

When I was little, I like to go on the Tilt-o-whirl with my Dad and sister. We'd lean into the tilt to make it whirl a little more. As an adult, I like most rides with water - The Flume, Thunder Canyon (at the fair), and of course Ye Old Time Cars.
