I’m in Aspen sitting here at Apres’ ski get together & asked 5 people what they are? 4 are sunset & 1 is sunrise. The sunrise guy is an MD & he is an early bird. The rest are nite owls. 💕
I am more of a sunrise person in my "regular" life as I'm an early riser. I love being up when other people aren't. I just love mornings in general- it's my high energy time of the day and a beautiful sunrise is the icing on the cake. If I'm on vacation, I do enjoy a sunset and like Lisa, I would say I'm most aware and in awe of the beautiful sunsets over Grindstone Lake in northern Wisconsin. And, after sunset comes a beautiful star filled sky which I don't see as often living in a city. Good question, Lisa.
I love this question and your answer. My answer is dependent too. I am a water and mountains person. Nothing is more beautiful than the setting sun displayed across the Pacific Ocean nor is anything so captivating as a sun rise that greets you from a tent on the barest peak. Cheers to nature-she calls to me whatever the time of day.
I’m commenting again as my previous answer was more of a poll of friends around a table but it sure sparked a fun conversation of sunrises & sunsets. My most memorable sunset was when I was sitting on a balcony in a Florida condo watching the sun setting & after it sunk into the Gulf we saw the most spectacular green flash. It’s supposed to be Good Luck I hear. It was.
Although I’m not usually up for it, I’m definitely more of a sunrise person. I love the small hours of the morning when everything is quiet and still. It’s so peaceful — mornings are my favorite time of day 💌
