This is an easy one. I’ve always wanted to learn to play the violin. I asked a professional violinist some years ago how long it would take me to be reasonably decent-I am a proficient pianist already.She said,”if you are motivated,are already a skilled musician,it would take about 3 years of every day effort, to be able to play fairly well.”I didn’t do it!That was in 2010 that I had that conversation. I guess no time like the present. I don’t buy that you are ever too old to learn-motivation is the key ingredient.

OMG, this is my favorite of your posts yet! Can this go viral please? 💪 I’m in the business of helping people do better, learn better, and be more authentic, and yes, the oldies can learn if they want to do so! I wanted to learn herbs, so I hustle my 57 year old ass to a seven hour class once monthly 2 hours away, and dive into the unknown. It’s difficult and scary and fabulous. ☀️
