Besides the people you’re with, I think a nice combination of set plans and relaxation is lovely! dependent of course on where you’re vacationing, I think having certain things to look forward to is nice, but not feeling like you have an obligation to follow a strict schedule. I personally am a big planner- I love finding good restaurants and stuff, but also love to explore and relax at my own leisure! Having a balance of the two is key for me!

Diving into the history of the place makes a vacation for me. I want the old buildings, the lore, the food from recipes that were handed down generations. I want to talk with the locals, visit the libraries, & walk in the forests with trees that have witnessed all the happenings.
