Right now I think kindness is one of the things I value most in my friends & family. The world is very busy & people are busy but it takes very little time to be kind. Make someone’s day with a kind remark or something positive.

Yes, the world is too busy. Imagine the impact the world/people would feel if everyone just had one kind thing to say to a neighbor, stranger, etc. LOVE!

I admire patience and empathy in difficult situations. Patience is a growth area for me, so I find it really admirable when someone can address conflicts or issues with a level head and open heart!

I admire patience too. Over the years, I've become more patient but it's still a growth issue for me as well. YES to open hearts!!

Compassion. My mother always had such compassion for people including those that she didn’t know. I’ve always admired this quality. I admire kindness, as well. And being a good friend.

Mom was a very compassionate person. I also loved how she talked to random people she'd encounter like at the grocery store and make a genuine effort to relate to them. I do that now too. BTW - You're a good friend (sister) too.

Agreed! Without kindness, the world is a hard, busy shell. I love all the kindness floating around in people's responses to this question.
