I’ve been learning Clair de lune on the piano so have enjoyed listening to lots of classical music in my car & at home. I love anything by Debussy & it is the slow number of his Suite Bergamasque but has been the most popular. The song is actually from a poem by Paul Verlaine inspired by a painting by Jean Antoine Watteau. It was written in 1882 & revised in 1905. I just looked it up because I love it so much. It’s about life & love. Have a listen.
Yes, Clair de Lune is a stunning piece. I love it too! So did my mom. David is also learning it too, but on the guitar. Pretty arrangement. I didn't know it wasn't based on a poem. Now I like it even more.
The song that’s been stuck in my head for a few days is the 80’s hit You Gotta Be by Des’ree. It has a simple, but great piano part and the vocals are dynamo.
Whenever spring comes around, I gravitate towards artists like Tom Petty and The Sundays. I've also been loving To Love Somebody by the Bee Gees and the PJ Morton and Yebba version of How Deep Is Your Love!
My ‘Apryl’ play list changes all the time, but these three songs always make the cut. When the Bones are Good by Maren Morris, chasing the Sun by Sara Bareilles, and Rock, Paper, Scissor by Jay May

I had to look that one up. I didn’t remember it by its title. Yes, I like that one too! Good morning song.
